These items were popular tourist jewellery from the early 20th century. Also, they were worn by tribesmen as decoration. This one is capped in silver, and measures 10.2 cm across 4 inches , but if it were worn as a pendant, it would be 7 cm long 2.3 4 inches . The tusk is 1.7 cm deep 5 8 inch . Very good condition. End of the tusk is sheared, but this is usually natural. There is one chip to the rear of the tooth. Again, could be the result of a natural encounter.
